My name is Thomas Vogel. I am living in Germany. I enjoyed computergames since I was child
so I decided to follow my passion and move into this industry and create digital characters.

I am graduated with the Bachelor of Science degree from the Beuth hochschule Berlin in 2009.

I love computer technology and art, especially fantasy and character design. The best way to fuse these hobbies together was through digital art and hence I have practiced 3D art for the last two years.
So far I am entirely self-taught in the field of digital art.
Besides my path of art I learned a lot of technical background and limitations for realtime content. Several times I worked  closely together with programmers and designers to drive things forward.

I am specialized in 3D-modeling, sculpting, texturing and rendering  for realtime characters.
My favoured tools are: Maya, 3DS Max, Zbrush, Unreal Engine, Photoshop and Bodypaints.
Lifedrawing is one of my favourite lifestudys besides the 3D focus.

I love drifting through the streets and get inspired by the real world, thus
my inspiration pool fills from day to day with new visions and ideas I want to realize.

Besides playing games, sports are one of the most important activities in my life. I like to play Football, Basketball and Squash.

I was able to get a solid knowledge of the development process with my Intership at EA Phenomic.
This internship involved me in many different categories in the field of game development.
Communication and Teamwork with different departments where needed to solve the day to day issues.

I am open for educational and career opportunities as I am eager to improve and move forward.
